I'm thinking about importing Scala microtonal files into The Pool. Initially via SD, perhaps also via Midi. The SCL file poses no problem, but mapping to "keyboard keys" is more of a pain.
Do you think it would be useful to link a .kbm file (with the same name) to the .scl file, or would a simple automatic mapping algorithm be sufficient? Do you have any ideas on the subject?

I think a .kbm file makes it more customizable, so hopefully you will be able to edit the mapping to the keys to something more playable, useful and controllable. If that is complicated then a mapping algorithm is welcome.
Of course the ability, as I ve mentioned before, to alter in real time the pitch of each scale key makes
the system infinite and killer!
In a way importing any tuning files would have become redundant if we could tune each scale key of a chosen octave division.
