It looks like the motion sequencer always records some of the parameters, regardless of whether they've been touched or not.
- OCTAVE of each VCO
- VCO2 INTERVAL
- LEVEL of VCO1, VCO2, NOISE
So if I just want to motion-record the FILTER CUTOFF, it will also turn off any MIXER DLFO MOD and lock any OCTAVE changes.
Is this intensional?
OTOH, I can motion-record the VCO2 INTERVAL, and the FILTER CUTOFF will still remain operational (as expected).

Yes, this is the way it works:
- the motion sequencer is a "per step" snapshot recorder for all the "blue spot" parameter in the front of the synth.
- It is not possible to "exclude" one or several parameters.
- if you do not record motion, the recorded parameter remains as it was when you recorded the motion sequence.
- the motion sequence, for attribute parameters like octave (instead of "variable" parameters) takes over the rest. You can change octave settings, motion parameter is always the strongest. The only way to avoid it is to stop the playing of the motion sequence.

not all of them though. CUTOFF and EMPHASIS are still tweakable with Motion Seq on.
I wish this was consistent, with all "blue dot" parameters behaving like CUTOFF and EMPHASIS.
ok, clear. I understand, good idea.
CUTOFF and EMPHASIS can be "relative". When you change CUTOFF and EMPHASIS, I transpose step values. But I can't transpose logical value, no ergonomic idea for this.
Can VCO2 INTERVAL and LEVEL of VCO1, VCO2, NOISE be relative as well?
Aren't they "step values"?
