You mean a temperament control, like on the Korg PS-3X00 series?

What exactly do you want? This summer I'm planning to implement microtonal, perhaps even compatibility with SCALA files. Wouldn't that be enough? In terms of ergonomics, the use of encoders would be possible, but I don't see the advantage of playing the note and shifting it, playing the next note and shifting it, etc....

What I meant is the ability to tune each note of a chosen division of a scale live with the seq encoders. So you can alter the temperament before or while playing, so microtuning for example is not a static state but a fluid and easily changing.
The old korg PS 31/32/33000 is a good example of the function i am proposing but with the ability to save and edit those templates easily.
The advantage is the precise live manipulation of intervals.
Just in case we need more info...
Each seq encoder 1-64 should be able live to finetune the 1-64 degrees of the scale used.
For example if we use a quarter tone scale and we have 24 degrees in our scale then
the 1-24 encoders should be able to retune live specific degrees of our scale or being
able to alter our temperament as we play in a predictable and precise way on the whole midi range. :)
...and for those into exotic instruments, this function of being able to retune each note on the fly is
very similar to how a Qanun functions which offers endless pitch inflections...
