MPE is also more stable now!
Pool/Osmose:
I bought the Pool together with the Osmose to be able to play an expressive digital/analog synth. Although the Osmose still seems to have a few teething problems, I think the combination of both devices has been pretty good so far.
Until now, I connected the Osmose to the Pool via USB.
Now that the MPE functions have been optimized, I've switched to the classic Midi Din connection. It works!
Advantage: now I can connect the Osmose in parallel with the DAW via USB and record midi notes, for example. (this was not possible before because the USB port on the Osmose was blocked and the keyboard was not recognized in the DAW via a USB Hup).
Pedals:
I use 2 Moog EP3 pedals connected to the Osmose as Sustain cc64 and Expression cc11. The expression pedal controls Morph2 on the Pool. Works fine.
Unfortunately, you can't connect two expression pedals with different channels to the Osmose. (The midi data seem to cross each other)
Because I prefer to use a second expression pedal instead of or in addition to the sustain, I connected an additional Lehle Dual Expression Pedal directly to the Pool via the USB port that had become available. It immediately recognized the pedal as an expression pedal and Morph2 can be controlled, but I can't change the channels to control Morph1, for example.
Question:
If I now select cc9 on the Osmose, as in the update info, to use two expression pedals, Morph1 does not react! Is there something wrong with the channels, or is it generally not possible?
