Instructions pour utiliser The 3B Editor
1. Mise à jour du firmware
Téléchargez le firmware ici :

Ce fichier ZIP contient le firmware et un fichier PDF expliquant comment effectuer la mise à jour.
Cette étape est indispensable pour utiliser The 3B Editor.
2. Installation de l'application The 3B Editor
Pour macOS :

Pour Windows :
https://www.baloran.com/The3B/The3B_Editor/WIN_The3B.zip
Décompressez l'archive ZIP dans un dossier de votre choix. Elle contient :
- L'application (APP pour macOS, EXE pour Windows)
- Un sous-dossier microSD indispensable. Il doit contenir les mêmes fichiers que la carte microSD actuelle de votre 3B.
La version fournie contient également des séquences de Cutting Edge, que je remercie au passage.
3. Première utilisation
Une fois le firmware mis à jour, The 3B allumé et connecté en USB :
- Lancez l'application.
- Cliquez sur le bouton MIDI....
- Sélectionnez Baloran The 3B en MIDI IN et MIDI OUT.
- Fermez et relancez l'application.
L'éditeur devrait maintenant être synchronisé avec votre 3B.
Tous les contrôles reflèteront son état actuel.
Si vous faites des changements directement sur le 3B, cliquez sur
READ THE 3B pour les récupérer dans l'éditeur.
4. Astuces
Pour désactiver un pas du séquenceur, tirez-le vers le bas jusqu'à -25. L'affichage du séquenceur possède un zoom automatique : Si toutes les notes sont entre -12 et +12, l'affichage est agrandi. Si une note dépasse cette plage, l'échelle passe automatiquement de -24 à +24.

Instructions for using The 3B Editor
1. Firmware update

This is a mandatory step before using The 3B Editor.
2. Installing The 3B Editor
For macOS:

Unzip the archive into any folder of your choice. It includes:
- The application (APP for macOS, EXE for Windows)
- A required microSD subfolder that should mirror the current contents of your 3B's microSD card.
This version also includes Cutting Edge sequences — many thanks to them.
3. First launch
Once The 3B is updated, powered on and connected via USB:
- Launch the application.
- Click on the MIDI... button.
- Select Baloran The 3B as both MIDI IN and MIDI OUT.
- Quit and relaunch the app.
The editor should now be connected and fully synced with your 3B. All controls will reflect its current state.
If you make changes directly on the 3B, click
READ THE 3B to load them into the editor.
4. Tips
To turn a sequencer step OFF, drag it down to -25. The sequencer display features auto zoom: If all notes are between -12 and +12, the view is zoomed in. If any note goes beyond that range, the scale adapts to -24 and +24.
