I added a message to a very old topic so I felt it was best to start a new topic.
I've been implementing NPRN sequencing to affect all MIDI channels (globally) but there hasn't been a configuration I've found that allows for affecting specific voice cards. NPRN sent to The Pool on Midi Channel 2 will also affect Channel's 1, 3, and 4. I'm unsure if The Pool's firmware only allows it to apply NPRN messages globally or if my settings need changing. Dosing individual synth voices in this way is a goal of mine!
A per-channel NPRN configuration would be desirable for many reasons. As a multi-voice instrument it would allow for a more complete programmatic experience with The Pool. The 4-timbre midi mode seems like the correct configuration for this application, as you can affect the parameters of an individual synth voice on the panel, and velocity and note changes also work in this manner.
Is there a configuration in the current firmware that distributes these NPRN messages based on their programmed MIDI channels? If not, is this an implementation that could be added?
