Thankfully the new 1.91 update solved this problem for me!

Have problem sending the moog patch .syx, i see it sends the 200 patches from my mac but the patches on the river are still the same.
I tried on panel usb and key usb but no joy(i tried with my pc but no joy).
Strange thing, i succeeded in sending the last os from my macbook pro...

Have you checked so PANEL@THERIVER is selected in the MIDI Setup?

In the next software update I would like if you can put "Local On/Off" in the first place in "System" menu please.
Because thats the function you go to most while changing between playing the synth itself or using it with a DAW.
The other functions are not changed as often.

In the meantime, there's a River Key shortcut for Local On/Off which is SHIFT + F7.

So there are more shortcuts than those on the magnetic list apparently.

I decided to do a fresh OS install of my Imac, but the problem is still there.
When I start the computer and then start to play on The River I can play 2-3 tones, then it freeze.
The only way to make the freeze release is to open MIDI Studio in MAC.
Maybe its that Im not used to how MAC works, does MIDI studio always have to opened up and be active before you can use synths connected with MIDI?
In Windows I didn't have to think about something like that.

I've never had The River freeze with a Mac. I'm on Catalina, Nuendo 10.

I had a little bit more time now to test different midi connections to see were the problem is, and I don't think it is The River causing it, I think there is some conflict in some of the MIDI drivers on my Mac. And that makes The River freeze when it's connected to MIDI. But my other synths with USB Midi don't show this behaviour.

I just made a fresh install of an iMac computer with Cubase and The River connected via Panel USB.
And now, after played with The River through Cubase, when I shut down Cubase The River freeze. Cant do anything with the controls, but Riverkey is still working.
Its not until I open Macs Midi Studio everything start working again.
I didnt have this problem with My Windows PC.

Edit: OK, now I have used the combination iMac and The River for a while and The River even freeze when not using Cubase. Dont know why, but open up the Midi Studio in Mac release the freeze.
This was not so funny, I thought MAC would be more stable than Windows when it comes to Audio Midi functions.
Anyone else using MAC with The River that dont have this problem?

I just migrated from Windows to MAC, and I was very happy to see here that The River Library Editor was able to run on my iMac with Winebottle windows emulator that is free!
So now its just the firmware updates of The River that needs a Windows PC, but I can use an old laptop I have for that.

I cant get the MPE to work correct with Roli Seaboard Rise 25 and The River.
Would appreciate some help.

I start with The River with Loading Multi Template 8.
The River is connected to my PC with USB Midi.
In Cubase I choose "Seaboard Rise (Note Exp)" to control The River. There is also another option: "Seaboard Rise" to choose, but booth do the same it seems.
I choose MIDI channel 2 as I understand is correct.

In Roli Dahsboard I have settings "No. Midi channels" to 8, and Midi Mode to MPE.

I can now play the sound of The River from Seaboard Rise, Im not sure which direction is X and Y, but the after touch works, that must be Z, and gliding sideways works, but id doesent glide in the right keys, the glide is about one semitone on the sound of The River when moving a whole octave on Seaboard Rise.
But the direction when you glide along the key dont change anything in the sound of The River?

I still hadn't realized the thinking of the FX01 and FX02 banks.
Now it make sense and helps the programming of sounds a lot!

I noticed that the pseudo poly after touch is only for last key played.
I would like the choice of highest key played sa well, thank you.

In 1.85 for DLFO Mode: channel, last key, higher key, lower key 
I think I have also improved this function because voices that went from DLFo receiver to non-receiver kept the last DLFo value in memory. That wasn't so good, I think it's better now.

Sometimes when I start The River one of the displays only shows a bright white light.
I have to restart it to get it to work normally.

I dont understand either how to load sounds from The River Library Editor in to The River.
The other way around is clear, I use the "dump" setting in The River, and Recept in the software, but what setting shall The River have when dumping from Library to The River?

Found my mistake now when reading the manual more closely. 
The poly setting in Layer setup is only for sending AT via usb or midi.
The pseudo poly after touch playing the river sounds is under Options/ DLfo mode.
