If it's technically possible, can you add an option on the OPTIONS or SYSTEM menu giving us the choice to bypass or not the 8 individual outputs even if cables are connected on them?
It's not practical at all to unplug all 8 jacks to the individual outputs when we want to send all 8 voices to the master output (for a global recording of The River, including FX if we use them) and then have to replug all 8 cables to the individual outputs at the back when we prefer a surgical and pure recording of each River's voice?

Now to be able to say that for this sound, each note has to be played in 1,2,3 or 4 voices is interesting. I just simulated it with two to four identical layers. Ok for next version (2.0x). When you push Unisson, you can select full or 2,3,4 voices....

With The River, you can make the same...
channel 1 with 1 to n voices and unisson
and another chanel or not with the unused voices

Can it be possible to let The River define dynamically this allocation of voices / notes depending on what we play like the Jupiter-4 & Jupiter-8?

So without static and restricting setup in menus, The River decides all the time the number of voices to play analysing the number of active notes all the time. If we push one key, The River launches the 8 voices, if we play 2 notes 4 voices per note and so on.
How many voices if we play 3 keys?  It should be 2 voices for all 3 notes... or a smarter allocation than that, let's say  voices for 2 of these 3 notes played and 3 for the 3rd note.

If it's not already possible, that can be a really nice feature to add. As an option to give more possibilities with The River depending on the sound we are searching to reach.

I fully agree with Reno: it's very impressive and you can be so proud of your creation Laurent...
The Moog One, even in its 16-voice version, doesn't make me dream as much as The River. Reno said the word - soul - and that's exactly that. Each of the 8 voices of The River has a real life, a life we don't hear on a lot of synths, even on very expensive synths... Amazing piece of gear, so inspirational and more human and emotional than other machines.

Can't wait to discover your future products Laurent and thank you once again.

Repérée parce que je dois acheter des câbles pour "utiliser le Triko du River" !

Hello there, I just discovered that the Jupiter 8 has a special unisson mode: I thought this mode was always putting all voices of a synth together but the Jupiter 8 unisson mode is smarter than that: if you press 2 keys the synth will split the voices in two so 4 voices singing for each key.
Can it be possible to do that on the River Laurent?

Hello there, my speakers almost died yesterday because the 'master level' knob wasn't cutting the huge feedback I had experimenting one of the Triko's delays. So it would be nice (and quite normal actually) to control the volume of all sounds coming from the River (including the sound coming from the inner Triko) via this master level knob.

With 2 different targets in mind: the ones that will use the expander "alone", and the ones that will connect the expander to their The River in order to have 16 voices of polyphony from The River keyboard like DSI/Sequential expanders.

Hello Laurent, merci à toi et Eric pour le manuel.
Il est tourné usage, et c'est bien le plus important, mais dans l'annexe 1 j'espérais trouver des dimensions un peu particulières, qui restent un mystère pour l'instant : de quelle surface (largeur x profondeur) dispose-t-on sur la partie haute du River pour y poser des machines ? (hors flancs en bois)
Avec l'idée d'y mettre un ou plusieurs expandeurs qui seront contrôlés par le grand River.
PS : ces dimensions conditionnent le réaménagement nécessaire du home-studio avant que le River n'arrive, vu le format de la belle bête.

Jouable ou pas ? Est-ce qu'on pourrait imaginer que l'arpégiateur ne se lance qu'une fois la pédale utilisée ?
Genre on enchaîne les motifs mélodiques pis à un moment donné, alors qu'une ou plusieurs notes sont en train d'être jouées, on appuie sur la pédale et là l'arpégiateur se met en route, basant ses notes sur celles jouées zuste avant qu'il ne soit lancé.

Caisse queue vous en pensez ?

En live ça me paraît un bel effet de surprise et une maîtrise facilitée de l'activation / désactivation de l'arpégiateur en phase de jeu parce que nos doigts pourraient être tout le temps sur le clavier.
