can an EXP Pedal or an external CV signal be used as DYN SRC?

No, but there is a workaround: the Pedal Input (labelled CV in).

If you want to control Loudness by CV input (whatever CV signal is plugged: CV In or Pedal), just use the shift function (labelled "pedal" in yellow in the front of the synth). You can use is on the VCA Level, or via the DLFO section.

Yes, I know about that, but it doesn't really cover any of the DYN SRC destinations.

  • Level of modulation of the choruses
  • Speed of the modulation of the choruses
  • Level and speed of the modulation of the choruses
  • Level of the effect of the master (sum of the choruses)
  • Level of the direct signal of the master
  • Level of the FX filter
  • Delay of the FX
  • Level of the FX filter
  • Speed of the FX modulation
  • Amplitude of the FX modulation
  • Parameter specific of FX
  • Level of the FX effect

it's strange that the source for those can only be MIDI or Audio In, while having a local EXP Pedal so limited in functionality.

A dirty workaround to access DYN MOD with a local Exp Pedal is to physically connect MIDI IN to MIDI OUT.
For it to work, you will need to use two layers, L1 MIDI-to River, L2 River-to-MIDI.
