This firmware brings improvements to the management of rotary sliders in the web interface, as well as to the overall performance of that interface.
Both methods for updating The 3FX firmware are explained in the manual.

Effectivement quand on clique Connect, un avertissement indique qu'il va essayer le Bluetooth: J'ai répondu non et la liste a bien fait apparaitre le port USB.
Mais mon M4 n'aime pas les communications à 921600 bauds. En sélectionnant 230400 avant de cliquer Connect, la communication a été parfaite et la procédure a parfaitement fonctionné. Je viens de modifier le PDF de la procédure.

But my M4 does not like communication at 921600 baud. By selecting 230400 before clicking Connect, the communication was perfect and the procedure worked flawlessly.

Alors ça ne fonctionne pas chez moi, la page cherche à se connecter à mes appareils Bluetooth mais aucun appareil usb n'apparaît
J'ai essayé en désactivant le Bluetooth de l'ordinateur mais sans résultat aussi
J'ai essayé aussi sur un ordi portable ( même OS )
Pour les 2 le navigateur était Chrome

Elle corrige la gestion des contrôles rotatifs : quand vous atteignez le maxi, si votre doigt poursuit sa course, la valeur ne repasse plus au mini. Idem dans l'autre sens

It fixes the behavior of the rotary controls: when you reach the maximum value, if you keep turning the knob, the value no longer resets to the minimum. The same applies in the opposite direction

The app's user interface isn't an issue, but on The 3B, with its screen and limited number of encoders, it's going to be a bit harder to find the right balance...

All The 3FX software, plugins and firmware have been updated on 26/04/2026.
The 3FX firmware is available here

This firmware brings improvements to the multiple 3FX units mode on a single computer.
The Hardware RESET has been expanded: it now restores factory settings and sounds. ⚠️ Warning, it will erase all your personal settings.

🔹 Unlock the plugin:
Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security
Scroll down, you will see a message regarding BALORANThe3FX
Click "Open Anyway"
🔹 Restart your DAW
The plugin should appear in your VST3 list. If not, run a plugin scan from within your DAW.

No, the firmware will not change the acquisition speed of the X, Y, Z coordinates. The sensors used do not allow for better performance. I regularly monitor STMicroelectronics information to see if a new available generation improves this point.
