The River Control Expander
« on: February 17, 2020, 10:19:19 PM »
Laurent posted a comment on Gearslutz.com about a possible control expander for The River.
How would it look like? I'd love it to include all the missing knobs and buttons that are hidden in keyboard shortcuts and menus.
Things like: easier bank/preset access, arpeggiator and sequencer buttons, Triko and FX controls, and some of the menu hidden gems.

Can you imagine the list of buttons that would be a real benefit?  I really can't predict everything, you still have to prioritize ;)

The essentials:
Start / Stop
Arpeggio selection
Sequence Selection
Record sequence step by step
Selection Level, Pan, ... Fx, Mixer?
etc...

Personally, I got used to Shifts :D, I lack a little idea about what is blocking you on the ergonomic level.

Ideally, where would you put this extension?
