All The 3FX software, plugins and firmware files were updated on 28/05/2026.

This firmware adds a new mode, BOOST, visible next to BYPASS. As soon as it is enabled, the response curve of the LEVEL DRY, LEVEL DELAY 1, and LEVEL DELAY 2 controls changes: near the end of their travel, it increases the gain of the AS2164 VCAs by +10 dB, giving access to a gentle saturation of the component. This is not distortion, but rather a subtle, musical saturation — a new sonic colour. You may also need to adjust the input signal gain to find the perfect setting
BOOST mode also corrects the response of the FEEDBACK control, significantly improving its precision. As a result, the self-oscillation threshold is shifted: previously around 125, it is now around 175.

🔹 Download and unzip the ZIP file.
🔹 Copy the two files into the following folder:
/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/

⚠️ Important: this is the Library folder at the root of your Mac, not the one in your user folder. To access it easily, open the Finder, press ⌘ + Shift + G, paste the path above, and confirm.

🔹 Restart your DAW.

The plugin should then appear in your VST3 plugin list. If it does not, run a plugin scan from your DAW.
