Finally got the time to try out the new firmware, it works great. I really like the extra GAP and XOR modes, you can get some great rhythms going. Now going to see what I can do with controlling my LXR-2, watch this space :-)

1- Prise en charge de l'Aftertouch via MIDI ou USB. L'aftertouch channel est une nouvelle source de modulation de chaque module et un mapping possible pour les macros.
2- Ajout du Sample and Old dans les formes d'onde dispo pour les modulation.
3- Ajout dans Settings d'un filtre MIDI pour filtrer les MIDI program change, les Notes On Off et les messages Realtime (clock, start, stop...)
Cette version corrige d'autres points et finalise l'implémentation MIDI décrite dans ce document

3- Addition of a MIDI filter in Settings to filter MIDI program changes, Note On/Off messages, and real-time messages (clock, start, stop, etc.)

Last post by Baloran - May 10, 2026, 11:55:28 AMEssais sur des sortes de réverbérations chorussées avec le Kobéh (Behringer Kobol) et le SteamPipe (Erica Synth). C'est du direct sans reverb bien sûr, juste The 3FX avec deux coups de BYPASS au milieu pour bien observer l'effet The 3FX.
Experiments with different types of chorus-style reverb using the Kobéh (Behringer Kobol) and the SteamPipe (Erica Synth). This is a direct signal without reverb, of course—just The 3FX with two BYPASS switches in the middle to clearly hear the effect of The 3FX.

Par NRPN, tous les paramètres de The 3FX sont accessibles avec la résolution native de la commande. Pour les CC, seuls les « plus importants » le sont.
Pour des besoins spécifiques non pris en charge, n'hésitez pas à poser vos questions dans ce sujet.

This is a known macOS Sequoia issue — for unsigned VST3 plugins, the "Open Anyway" button is unreliable because it's the host (Ableton) that loads the plugin, not you opening it directly. The fix is to remove the quarantine flag manually. Don't worry, it's normaly easy.
1. Open Terminal (Applications → Utilities → Terminal, or Cmd+Space and type "Terminal").
2. Copy-paste the line below that matches where you installed the plugin, then press Enter:
If installed system-wide (most common, /Library/...):
sudo xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/BALORANThe3FX.vst3
If installed for your user only (~/Library/...):
xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine ~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/BALORANThe3FX.vst3
The sudo version will ask for your Mac password (you won't see characters as you type — that's normal).
3. Quit Ableton completely, reopen it, and rescan plugins (Preferences → Plug-Ins → Rescan, or hold Option while clicking Rescan to force a full scan). The security popup should not reappear and the plugin will load.
If you also see the security entry still pinned in System Settings → Privacy & Security, you can ignore it — once the quarantine flag is gone, Ableton will load the plugin normally.
If needed, we will move to an Apple Developer ID subscription so the plugin can be properly signed and notarized for a smoother install on macOS — Apple's process is admittedly demanding to set up.
Let me know if anything stays stuck.

Last post by DS3k - May 08, 2026, 04:44:08 AMOn an M4 running MacOS 15.7.3 when Ableton scanned the plugin it triggered the security popup but when I went to security settings and clicked "open anyway" nothing happens. Even after computer restart it's stuck in security settings and won't allow it to open.
