Problème finalement résolu (v19 et son de retour).
Pour information, si ce problème survient il faut, en plus du truc de la Pédale 2, recharger le TheRiverUpdater.
j'avais bien la dernière version mais le reload à partir du zip file de Laurent de 2020 a permis de le faire fonctionner correctement.

Problème partiellement résolu (mais toujours pas de v19 ni de son).
On peut sortir de ce mode "frozen" par la prise "Pedal 2" (voir extrait de gearspace ci-dessous).
J'ai mis Ped 1 et Ped 2 en OFF sur le Global setup et pour la Pedal 2 elle est en -/-.
J'ai aussi audébut mis un jack dans la Pedal 2 et ai engagé la pédale, ce qui a débloqué le truc.
Même sans pédale dans le jack ça semble marcher.

Select Ped.2 to ___ for a pedal with the contact closed at rest. In this case make sure that the pedal is plugged in because otherwise The River will consider the pedal to be always on.

Allows to define the role of pedal 2
Shift Pedal 2 acts is S KEY
Start Pedal 2 acts as S KEY C3, meaning a start stop of the sequencers/arpeggios.
Extend Pedal 2 acts like the S KEY, but only for changing patches."
If Pedal 2 is set to Shift or Extend, could it be stuck in "pedal on", creating a perpetual S Key press? If you haven't already, try plugging a pedal into the "Pedal 2' jack. If that works, then reverse the Ped.2 setting.

Après une interuption estivale d'un mois, je ralllume The River pour constater que :
- la première rangée de commandes (de Load single à Trans) est inactive (les boutons ne s'allument plus, en direct ou après la commande classique S + load multi etc...).
- ces boutons quand on les presse font changer les singles sur l'écran, comme une commande de presets.
- après avoir chargé la v19 ce matin, elle n'apparait pas dans Global set up (suis toujours sur v15b).
- il n'y a plus de son, Local off se remettant toujours sur YES (j'y accède par S + G5 car la touche système est inactive) (il y avait cependant du son hier avant le chargement de la v19).
Avant de me jeter d'un pont de la Garonne, j'espère que tu me redonneras la fleur aux dents !

I ve asked many times for a conversion tool from the Pool proprietary audio format to WAV and back.
At the moment I don't get any answer and it seems that software development for the Pool has stopped.
Is that the case? Could we get some info regarding if and when we will get those extras that we have
talked about? The forum seems awfully quiet.
It's great that a River ii desktop is coming but without dedicated yearly software development and
innovation , i am afraid it is risky or not very useful at least for me.
Software development is expensive and it is the part that most electronic instruments fall short.

If the problem only affects a group of adjacent notes, check that the edge of the front panel is not preventing the keys from returning properly, and make sure the keys do not make a clicking or snapping noise when released quickly. It may also be useful to loosen the keyboard mounting screws slightly for testing, as the keyboard frame may have been twisted during transport. Otherwise, the keyboard assembly may need to be replaced. If the problem affects the entire keyboard, further tests are required. Disconnect all connected pedals, computers, and CV/Gate cables, then try using an external MIDI keyboard, and so on, in order to identify the source of the problem.
